Monnaio ("the app") is a personal expense management application. Protecting your data is a priority. This policy explains what data is collected, why, and how you stay in control.
1. Data collected

Payments are handled exclusively by Apple (App Store in-app purchase). We never see your banking details or your card: Apple only tells us whether the subscription is active.
We do not collect location, contacts, or advertising data. The app contains no advertising trackers.
2. How your data is processed
- Your data is stored securely with Supabase (encrypted infrastructure).
- Every account is strictly isolated: only you can access your data (security rules enforced at the database level).
- When you scan a receipt, the receipt photo is sent to an artificial intelligence service (Google Gemini) solely to extract its information (store, amount, date, category). We ourselves use it for no other purpose; Google processes it under its own Gemini API terms of use.
- The receipt photo is kept in your private space as long as the expense exists: it is deleted with the expense, or with your account.
3. Data sharing
Your data is never sold or shared for advertising purposes. It is only shared with the technical providers strictly necessary to run the service:
- Supabase (database hosting and authentication)
- Google Gemini (receipt photo analysis, only during a scan)
- Apple (signing in with your Apple account, if you choose this option: Apple confirms your identity to us; we never receive your Apple password)
- RevenueCat (subscription management: receives from Apple whether your subscription is active and an anonymous account identifier — never your email or your expenses)
4. Your rights
- Access: all your data is visible in the app.
- Rectification: you can edit or delete any expense or subscription.
- Full deletion: the "Delete my account" button (Settings) permanently and immediately erases all your data: account, expenses, subscriptions, receipt photos. This action is irreversible. If your account was created with “Sign in with Apple”, the link between the app and your Apple account is also removed.
5. Security
- Secure authentication (passwords hashed, never stored in clear text).
- Encrypted communications (HTTPS/TLS).
- AI service access keys kept exclusively server-side.
6. Children
The app is not intended for children under 13.
